Cowhide pixels stitched together to perfection is what we call the Moderna Cowhide Rug. We start with a selection of the best cowhides from the Pampas Grasslands in Argentina and Brazil. Then, each rug is individually hand crafted with 3" squares, assembled with a high resistant cotton ribbon, then finished with a perfect zig-zag stitching detail. Our rugs are never glued to any backing material; the reverse side is the natural soft suede that adheres perfectly to your floor, so there is no need for any rug pad underneath. Because of the characteristics of cowhide, our rugs naturally stain repellant and extremely durable. Contact us for custom colors, sizes and pricing information.
